Two of my three Windows 10 pc's refused to update. Only the newest, i built this year, went ahead.

Oh wait, there's nothing to worry.
Even better. Just stay at 1909. :nag:

Windows 10, version 2004 and Windows Server, version 2004 known issues list microsoft.com

I restored my previous version of Windows on the one PC. What a waste of time. :fp:

How to Stop or Disable Windows 10 Graphics Driver Update Automatically (gigxp.com)

The problem:
AMD Radeon Software not launching

is solved in : this thread (community.amd.com)

"If anyone wants a quick fix without reinstalling the drivers, I found one! Go into your AppData/Local/AMD/CN and delete your gmdb.blb, then restart the program or relog/restart your PC to have your Radeon Settings launching again"

Win 10 20h2 was not offered on my i7 2700K PC. However, it was no problem doing it manually from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
https://www.howtogeek.com/696702/how-to-install-windows-10s-october-2020-update-20h2/

... and the network troubles (here we go again):

3. Check the SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support feature and click OK.

Photoshop still does not support (viewing, converting) of .webp pictures, but Irfan View does it perfectly!

How to Make Windows Photo Viewer Your Default Image Viewer on Windows 10 (howtogeek.com)

The old Windows Photo Viewer is what i prefer over Microsoft Photos, and it displays .webp pictures, but they appear too dark. Because the program uses an old internal dll file which you need to replace with a new one:
