After sort of forgetting about the game for almost a year, :whi: I finally got around to beating it yesterday
('dumped' Xana, took skull and put it back)

The ending was interesting, with a touch of awesome, but was also a bit short in my opinion.
I am unsure if I want to reply it again to try for the other endings, or if I should just go to YouTube and see if they have the other three endings or not.
I am curious about redoing the last battle, getting adrenaline mode, and then see what happens if I try to use adrenaline boosted TK on Arantir (sp?) and try to launch him strait up... or maybe not... hard to say... as I said, I am debating if I want to replay it or not.

One thing I don't think I found.
Fire based daggers.
It seems like each type of weapon has a version with each type of 'element' (fire, ice, poison, lightning), but I don't think I ever ran into fire based daggers.
Good, bad, I'm the one with the Omni-mech!

You could try out the different endings starting from a savegame close to before that section. Make sure to never delete that specific savegame.

I don't remember seeing Daggers of Fire ! But maybe that is because i never use the Daggers anyway. :D
Maybe the Daggers of Lightning came in their place. :inv: To be found in a coffin with a skeleton, level after you beat the first Cyclops. The first big room after the stairs.

I will have to think about it.
What save would I 'restart' at for the 'evil' side?
I got a save staring at the little sign at the base of the path that leads up to the temple, would that be a good save to reload?

The only down side with skipping the temple is that I went with a focus on stealth with a good mix of magic and archery, with only 2 points in melee combat. Although I have a few unassigned points, I do not have the capability to get Sareth's strength skill to high enough of a level to use the fire sword, so I have no 'fire' based weapons aside from the bow and the staff, and the wimpy basic fire spell. That poses a slight problem for some parts of the last part of the game with all the undead stuff, since the only fire based melee weapon is the one fire staff, which is not very well suited for getting up close and personal with a bunch of very fast knight type guys.

There is also the question of if I can get in the right mindset for an 'evil' character.

I do have the lightning based daggers, although, handy when they sometimes seem to double as a stun gun on a power attack.

Oh wait, it's not so close to the ending, but before. You let Leanna die...just leave her in the giant Spider Pit, (you don't need her anymore), and choose Xana's side. That was only one of the first times i played the game (3d or 4th time i completely played it). I totally forgot how it was though, i just don't like Xana at all and it's against my nature to leave Leanna. :D

I agree, it doesn't seem right to just leave Leanna behind.

One thing I heard (unconfirmed) is that if you do not purge Xana, when you next run into Leanna (at the area with the huge gate) you would be forced to fight and kill Leanna, and still be able to do the 'evil' side of things.
That is partly why I saved right before the one temple.

If it is not true, I think I have a manual save right before the large spider thing that made me wish there were anti-tank weapons in the game.

For now, with having beat the game, I am having a hard time trying to get into the mood to play it some more.

I guess that is true. I will try that myself. :)
